SUSPENSION OF A RIGHT. The act by which a party is deprived of the exercise of his right, for a time. 2. When a right is suspended by operation of law, the right is revived the moment the bar is removed; but when the right is suspended by the act of the party, it is gone forever. See 1 Roll. Ab. tit.
